Hey all,
First, let me say awesome way to have us help build up and support each other. Great idea Mrs. Bev.
The church I've attended for about 4 years is a non-denomination Christian church. That first Sunday was the first time I ever heard contemporary Christian music. WOW!!! Cried during the songs, sermon, and prayers. After the service, the friend's wife that invited us, asked if I was ok. I told her if I was going to get back to being on fire for the Lord, like the night I was saved, then I had to find a Christian church. We just finished up a sermon series on "One month to live". Pretty good, very eye-opening. Last Sunday, we started "Our Favorite Songs". The first sermon being "Shout To The Lord", which has a foundational meaning for the church, which I didn't realize. I'm looking forward to the sermon in the morning.
What's your favorite song? Mine is Amazing Grace, not for the history or circumstances behind the writing of the song. But the words. Coming in very closely in 2nd place, Jeremy Camp's "There will be a day".
Thank you for letting me share this little bit,
For HIS service, R.D.

My favorite "oldie" was George Beverly Shea's versio of How Great Thou Art. Pretty cool that you found a new place to worship, and a service to get you fired up!
