My wife and I were heading west on 44hwy to Beaver Lake Beagle Club to pick up a hound. We were going 70 mph when all of a sudden a pickup about 60 yds ahead veered from the right lane to the median and back on again in just a matter of seconds. When we passed his truck I noticed the driver's side front tire was gone and he was rolling on his rim. The man got the truck back to the shoulder of the road and stopped and had his face buried in his hands. We pulled over just ahead of him and he got out and came up to the truck. He told us then that his tire had blew out and asked for a ride up to the nearest station. His wife and 3yr old daughter was in the truck and stayed there until he got back. It was truly amazing that the truck did not overturn, as it was careening back and forth across the highway. God must have been watching over him and his family during that time. We told him that and he agreed. Sometimes there is only seconds between life and death and when you get to see it played out before your eyes you come to somber realization that you are not in charge but He is. Thank you Father for watching over that family and watching over us each day.
God bless,
Rick
